The best living room rugs for under £100
So, here we are! It’s March. The blizzards, storms and all the other beasts are gone. And finally the hopes that the spring is on its way, are back! About time, I’d say! March is also the time that we all like to give our homes a little spruce (well, at least I do), buy something new and maybe bring a bit of colour in too. So how about new living room rugs? Did you know that a new rug can completely transform the look of your room? Any room in fact! If you follow me on Instagram then you have probably seen me flaunting with my new living room rug recently. And to be honest, it is one of the best purchases we’ve made. So I guess that would make the flaunting totally understandable, right?
But just in case, here it is again!
As much as I love my new rug, choosing one was not an easy decision to make. There are so many options out there. There are modern rugs, vintage rugs, oriental, Persian, indoor and outdoor rugs. It’s easy to get confused. And that’s why I decided to save you some time and bring you few of the best living room rugs for under £100. Why? Because I’ve already been there, lost countless hours. But most of all because I’ve found so many gorgeous rugs, it would be a shame not to share them with you! So, here I pronounce you with…
The best living room rugs for under £100
Let’s start from my rug. I’ve found it online from a company called iRugs.co.uk . The price starts from £49.99, depending on the size.
Remember, that a rug that is too big is always better than a rug that is too small! Ideally your sofa and chairs should be on the rug, or at least partially on the rug! Placing your furniture around it is not the best look. Trust me! Also, the bigger the rug, the bigger the area you’re looking at. In small living rooms it means that just by placing a bigger rug, you make the room look bigger too!
And these were my other contenders:
Rug Casa Blue from Benuta the price starts at £64.99
Istanbul Rug by iRug.co.uk, price starts from £49
Not very You? Want something softer under your feet?
Shaggy Whisper Grey Rug Grey, Benuta, £79.95
Fancy a bit more colour or pattern? Or maybe a new piece of art? You could have it all! Some of the living room rugs are like an art on the floor…
Boca Handmade Multicoloured Rug, Wayfair, from £99.99
Dip Dye Wool Rug Green, Benuta, from £99.95
Trellis Rug, iRugs.co.uk, prices start from £39
Pasture Floral Rug from Next, from £95 (available mid March)
Of course I could have not made a list with all the best living room rugs without including this one! After all it almost broke the Instagram… (and it’s even got its own Instagram account!)
Afaw Berber Style Rug, La Redoute, from £99
So, have you found yours?

April 2, 2018Great selection. Very predictable but I love the La Redoute one. I also love the fact that it has its own Instagram account. I have a similar Berber rug that I got for my living room. However, I have two small kids so it’s still in the wrapper lol. I’m too afraid they will drop food on it or worse still, play doh!

March 15, 2018Oh, my favourites are the Casa Blue and Pasture Floral. My living room rug is from IKEA, with a similar price range. I wouldn’t be able to live with an expensive rug (unless you wear those hospital paper slippers, haha).
